About The Piece:
Lunar Tides was written in memory of my Grandfather, George A. McMahon (1925-2009) who nurtured my gifts and brought me to piano lessons many years ago.
It was orignally written as a vocalese suitable for Soprano or Mezzo Soprano Voice. In this version, I transcribed it for Solo Horn and transposed it to Eb to better suit the soloistic colors of the instrument.
